A narrative, story-focused game, Syberia 3 is the latest (and possibly final) entry in the Syberia franchise.

$6 at Walmart

Syberia 3 is a narrative-heavy puzzle game. It's more focused on telling a story than presenting the player with challenges, but it's still a worthwhile adventure that differentiates itself from the first two games in the franchise. At just $6, what do you have to lose?

Explore the vast realm of Tamriel in this stunning MMO. Elsweyr contains the latest expansion on a journey to the Khajit homeland. Right now, it's 80% off — the lowest price in 30 days!

"Best chapter to date!" one gamer said. "I'm a long-term ESO player, going on four years now. I've played all the chapters and DLC. This one has, by far, the best writing and voice acting of them all. I'm partial to Khajiit, though, so maybe that colors my opinion some. I've enjoyed it so much I'm doing the zone story & side quests again on a second character, within a month of doing them on the first, which is something I've never done before."

If Civilization and Sim City had a baby, it would be Anno 1800.

$19 at Amazon

If you're itching for an in-depth city builder, you can't find a better game than Anno 1800. Plan out huge cities and logistic networks as you expand your towns and settle new lands. You can dominate opponents through warfare or with your mercantile prowess. This is designed for console play, so it's not nearly as demanding as the PC version — but it's just as fun.

"I love games like this. The graphics are stunning, conversion from mouse and keyboard to controller is seamless and done extremely well. The gameplay will provide countless hours of fun. Brings me back to the days of Sierra games with games such as Pharaoh and Cleopatra. Highly recommended," one player said.

Take on the role of a guide for the deceased in this gentle, charming game.

$15 at Amazon

Spiritfarer is a cozy game about death. You take on the role of Stella, a girl who makes the idea of passing over as comfortable as possible. Ferry spirits around on your boat, fish for their favorite snacks (or hidden treasure) and so much more. But fair warning — this game can tug at the heartstrings.

Explore the criminal underworld of Grand Theft Auto and find out why this is one of the most popular games of the last decade.

"I purchased Grand Theft Auto V and I must say, I'm impressed. It's the perfect game for anyone looking for a fun time. From the ridiculous missions to the outrageous characters, I find myself captivated every time I play. The graphics are stunning and the gameplay is smooth. I'm also a fan of the online multiplayer mode, which allows me to team up with friends and wreak havoc on the virtual streets. If you're looking for a fun game to pass the time, Grand Theft Auto V is the way to go," said one player.

In one of the best physics-based puzzlers of this generation, you take control of Sackboy and go on a family-friendly adventure.

$25 at Walmart

"If you enjoyed playing Yoshi's Crafted world, Mario World 3D and Super Mario Odyssey, then you will definitely enjoy this game. It has a lot of similarities with those games. The graphics and gameplay are amazing on the PS5. This game was perfect for my 9 year old," said one parent.

An epic, sweeping storyline and tons of post-game content make this a JRPG you don't want to miss.

"As a fan of the whole series, I'm enjoying it quite a bit.. I haven't finished it yet, but the gameplay and the graphics are definitely very nice on PS5, and it has been as good or better than previous games in the series. I'm still waiting to see how the item creation goes — early in the game the costs are pretty steep and I wish it had a better way to target a certain item or remember a recipe — but it's still fun," one stargazer said.

If you took Metroid and made it a rogue-like, you'd get Returnal. It's punishingly difficult, but with a gentle enough learning curve that the game is approachable even by less skilled players.

$35 at Amazon

"Wow. The game is fun and beautiful. Amazing atmosphere . The sound is off-the-charts good. It's smooth as butter at launch. Housemarque has outdone themselves. It’s hard at first (well, it’s hard throughout the game in spots), but fun!" one player said.

In the first true open-world Sonic game, explore five different islands and blaze at super speed across the landscape.

$32 at Amazon

"Absolutely amazing. Arguably the best Sonic game ever made," one player raved. "As a massive Sonic fan I’ve waited a decade for Sonic to get back on his feet. He did more than that — he sped off the second he hit the ground! The story is incredible and the gameplay really makes you feel like you’re Sonic. I’ve already dumped 11 hours into this game and it’s flown by like nothing, and I’m not even halfway through."

Step into the shoes of Clive Rosfield and fight your way across a landscape that merges the magic of Final Fantasy with the brutality of Game of Thrones.

$50 at Amazon

"When I first picked up this game, I didn’t really know what to expect," recalled one player. "When last I played another Final Fantasy game, it didn’t catch my fancy and I didn’t finish it. However, with XVI, imagine my surprise to how much they have improved and streamlined the experience in a way that made it really enjoyable to play, more so than others. I also found the story to be one of the best in gaming, with its lows and highs and the truly emotional ending. I did find some of the side quests to be a bit lacking. However, it still delivered toward the end."

In the critically acclaimed sequel to A Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, you'll explore never-before-seen areas of Hyrule and once more take up the legendary blade against an ancient evil.

$57 at Walmart

Tears of the Kingdom is an incredible follow-up to Breath of the Wild and builds upon and improves the foundation that game created. The new mechanics are very fun to use and allows you to solve puzzles in interesting ways every single time. Fusing Items is super fun and spices up the combat." Thus said one five-star reviewer.
